Program (lecture and hands-on training): Introduction to precision μECM and PeP machining: machine tools, μECM tools, materials, removal mechanisms – 1 day; μECM tool manufacture and processing – ½ day; μECM, PeP process: influences of parameters, process monitoring, machining of demonstrator parts – 1 day; Metrology: μECM and PeP part analysis, topography measurements, dimensional characterization – 1 day.
